We can convert almost any property with a loft conversion eg. Timber framed homes or trussed roof homes. Using modern techniques that are available to us today, we are able to convert trussed rafter roof homes or a timber framed. All work is supervised and overseen by one of the leaders of the company.

A loft conversion typically takes between 6 to 8 weeks, largely depending of course on the size and requirements of the conversion, eg. En-suite fitments, sauna, office, speciality bedroom requirements as fitted wardrobes etc, and facility to accommodate sport equipment etc.

If your property has permitted development right, then planning permission is not required. In most cases without development rights, planning permission is required. Our representative will be able to give you a more detailed answer to this question when he sees the property. Our experience is that most conversions do not require more than building regulations, which is simply a case of letting the local authority have copies of the intended conversion.

Yes, depending on the customers requirements and the condition of the previously done work on the loft, Alliance Lofts do complete conversions for customers that are unable to complete their own. We also do conversions to a certain level of completion if the customers wants only a part job done. We have in the past worked on lofts to the first stage, ie, laying the necessary supports and flooring……… for the customers to complete themselves.
